Como en Modelbrush somos unos culos inquietos y no tenemos suficientes juegos a los que darle, nos hemos lanzado a una nueva aventura: BloodBowl. Algunos de nosotros ya le dabamos con anterioridad, pero en mi caso personal, jamás llegué a jugar en su momento. Y de una forma u otra he ido esquivando los placajes que me ha ido haciendo desde que saliese la nueva edición. Pero al final ha sido imposible resistir el placaje que me he llevado del colega Jorge aquí en el frio norte, quien está organizando una pequeña liguilla para cuando el Covid escampe.
La verdad es que en general la gama de figuras de BloodBowl es un pasada y es muy dificil eligir un equipo basándose solo en la calidad de las minis. Al final me decanté por los lagartos no precisamente por las miniaturas (de hecho son las que menos me gustaban de toda la gama!), si no por que los Hombres Lagarto fueron mi ejército de Warhammer de la infancia y ocupan un lugar especial en corazoncillo. Quizás fuese por el esquema de pintura utilizado en el Box Art o por esa línea de dientes que tienen a modo de protección en la cara (rollo jugador de fútbol americano), pero no me convencían. Sin embargo, tras eliminar esa protección de la cara y pintar unas pocas minis, ahora estoy enamorado del equipo.
Por el momento tengo pintados dos eslizones y dos camaleones: Quesadillas, Chalupines, Frijolitos y Fajitas, respectivamente. Sí, todo el equipo tendrá nombes de comida mexicana. Lamentablemente Games- Workshop no tiene una versión actualizada de la miniatura del primo de zumosol, el Kroxigor. Así que tras rebuscar un poco por la red, al final he decidido usar como proxy el pedazo de kroxigor de Last Kingdom miniatures, tras reducirlo un poco de escala (65%).
Y como no podía ser de otra forma, mi equipo jugará en uno de nuestros maravillosos tapetes para BB ambientando en Lustria.
