Antes de que el Covid19 llegará y cambiara nuestras vidas, solía bajar a Las Españas por Navidades y reservaba un día para monar un pequeño taller de pintura o envejecimiento en Goblin Trader. En uno de esos talleres trabajamos diferentes técnicas de envejecimiento para pintar tanques (aquí), donde mi hermano utilizó como conejillo de indias un Predator de los Devoradores de Mundos para Warhammer 30k. Pero tan solo tuvo tiempo para pintar la torreta, y luego se olvidó del susodicho. Desde entonces, el pobre tanque ha estado metido en una caja a medio pintar y abandonado de la mano de Dios. Hasta ahora, que por fin me animé a darle una vuelta y terminarlo aquí en Finlandia.
El trabajo de envecimiento ha sido relativamente sencillo y «rápido»: a parte de meter un lavado oscuro para resaltar los recovecos, utilicé la técnica de la esponja para crear los desconchones de forma muy rápida y luego simplemente añadí efectos de polvo con pigmentos y salpicaduras. Para el tiempo invertido, acabé muy satisfecho con los resultados y hasta me entraron ganas de pintar más cosas de Warhammer 30k. Pero luego recordé a mis pobres Culsitas Genestealers, acumulando polvo, y se me quitaron las ganas… Quizás lo próximo que pinte sea una pequeña tanqueta para estos animosos Robágenes. Las fotos las he sacado sobre fondo gris para que el blanco del chasis no se vea saturado.
