¡Buenas tardes a todos! En esta Tarde de Juegos le toca el turno a un JUEGAZO que le encanta a Miguel: XenoShyft Onslaught. Marines espaciales, una base espacial minera, extraterrestres ultrapeligrosos y con mala leche… y tensión por todos lados antes de que los extraterrestres coman a todo ser viviente en la base…
Porque si algo puede pasar en XenoShyft Onslaught es que perdamos la partida irremediablemente. Qué complicado es, queeeeeé agobiante y qué bueno. Miguel y Omar ponen a prueba las defensas de la base y nos dejan su opinión y sus conclusiones cuando perdieron… ¿o acaso ganaron?

No, la partida la perdimos, pero el rato que pasamos lo ganamos, sin duda. ¡Pero qué juegamen!
Este Xenoshyft Onslaught lo recibí de la campaña de Kickstarter en 2015. Había podido jugarlo 2 veces con compañeros de trabajo y con Rubén, pero hace años que no había vuelto a tocarlo.
No tuve que insistir mucho para convencer a Omar para jugar, le había hablado tanto de él que en cuanto tuvimos la oportunidad lo sacamos a mesa.
Yo creo que lo que más me gusta del juego es el agobio que produce ver enemigos cada vez más enormes y peligrosos y saber que tus armas han mejorado pero no sabes si hasta ese nivel. Es un agobio que solo supera el Space Hulk de cartas, top en ese sentido. Eso sí, en este XenoShyft Onslaught el arte es infinitamente mejor y los materiales son tremendos.
La rejugabilidad es muy muy alta porque en cada partida solo te saldrán algunas cartas de mejora de las muchas que hay, y si encima metes expansiones la partidas serán completamente diferentes, o por lo menos las estrategia para poder ganar.
Ese es otro punto de XenoShyft Onslaught, ganar es MUY complicado, así que si te gustan los juegos que son paseítos y donde ganar es la norma general, no juegues a este. Pero si te gusta el agobio constante y el ir mejorando tu equipo y contratando nuevas tropas… ¡cómpralo!

Bueno, bueno señores… ¡me ha encantado! Miguel llevaba años diciéndome que teníamos que juagarlo, y menos mal que al final lo hemos hecho, ha merecido mucho la pena. El juego básicamente es un deckbuilder donde vamos a ir mejorando nuestro mazo de soldados y armas. La mecánica de las olas de enemigos produce un agobio alucinante, y parece que nunca vas a poder sobrevivir… y en nuestro caso se cumplió, no sobrevivimos. El juego tiene una duración correcta para que no se haga largo, y la temática te hace estar dentro de la situación en todo momento. No sé cómo será a 3 o 4 jugadores, pero a 2 este XenoShyft Onslaught desde luego que brilla. ¡Recomendado!
